ローマ神話に登場する曙の女神アウローラ-知性の光、創造性の光が到来するときのシンボル- にちなんで名付けられました。

AURORAが大切にしていることは、秩序ある自然がつくりだす美しい光景や現象に少しでも迫りたいという想いです。

無闇に空間を照らすのではなく、本当に必要な光を見極めたミニマルな照明デザイン。

主観的な感覚だけに頼るのではなく、より論理的で有機的な照明デザインを目指します。
 

AURORA is a Tokyo-based lighting design firm.

AURORA is named after Aurora, the Roman goddess of dawn, a symbol of the arrival of the light of intelligence and creativity.

What is important to AURORA is the desire to get as close as possible to the beautiful sights and phenomena created by an orderly nature.

AURORA's minimalist lighting design does not aim to illuminate a space without any thought, but rather to determine the light that is truly necessary.

We aim for a more logical and organic lighting design, rather than relying solely on subjective sensation.
